The Their Stood a Lamb Signature Session Event has always been a cherished tradition for Matt, showcasing his exceptional creativity. This year, we're returning to the roots of this event, capturing the unfolding art as Matt and Shea beautifully pose your little one with a gentle lamb against our rustic wooden cross, symbolizing the essence of Easter and the resurrection of the Lamb of God. Once captured, your session will undergo meticulous editing and artful enhancement to ensure your images exude the reverence and uniqueness they deserve. Given the intricate detail involved, limited spots are available, and this exclusive event will only take place on a single day this year.

Where & When

This event will happen on Sunday, March 30th and April 6th if for some reason the the weather does not cooperate we will move the sessions to the next Sunday or make time during the week in the later afternoons to accommodate those that booked. Sessions are scheduled to take place behind our studio, however, Matt and Shea are possibly going to move them to the field next to the studio. The locations will be ironed out as the event draws closer.

Who can participate

At Matt & Shea Photography, we cherish the opportunity to capture the pure essence of familial love during the "Their Stood a Lamb" Signature Session. Families are warmly welcome to partake in this special event. If your baby isn't sitting up by themselves, an adult or older sibling must accompany them during the session for safety reasons. To ensure individual attention and a relaxed environment, we only accept one family booking per time slot. Additionally, we welcome grandparents to schedule a session to capture beautiful moments with or of all their grandchildren.

Investment

If you wish to book this session, there is a $150 session fee due at the time of booking. The session fee covers the time and talent of Matt & Shea, the upkeep of the lamb for the duration that they are with us, props and furniture, and the time that it takes to edit the images and get them ready for your viewing session.

What is included with your session fee

30-minute Signature Session with Matt and Shea at the field behind the studio or another location that will be revealed closer to the event.
15-20 images that showcase your family or children as they interact with the lamb. These images will be shown in our vibrant base color and our classic custom black and white. There will be various images that will be transformed into an Artistic Creation image that offers more Photoshop and a more whimsically warm feel to the image.
One or two of your images will be displayed on our social media so you can share your incredible images with family and friends online a couple of days after your session.
A one-on-one Selection session where we will select your images and create the perfect package to showcase your artwork from your session. At that session, you will make your final selections as Matt helps you go through your images and shows you and your family amazing options like Wall Art, Albums, Prints, or Digital Files with Print Release.
When you book your session with Matt & Shea Photography, your specific time is removed from our calendar and not offered to anyone else, and due to this, session fees are non-refundable.
If the weather is not cooperating according to the forecast on the morning of the event, we will reschedule you for the next Sunday or make special arrangements to have the images taken during the week. To protect our equipment, if the weather forecast shows a 50% chance of rain that morning during your session time, we will contact you and reschedule you. There is no penalty for weather reschedules.
If you need to cancel your session for any reason, or that you need to reschedule, please contact the studio at 423-521-7427 within 48 hours so we can move you. If we are not contacted and no one shows up at the arranged time, the session fee is forfeited. With this session only offered one day, if you do need to reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances we are more than happy to transfer your session fee to another session experience.

This session is extremely limited and is only available for the times displayed. Once these sessions are booked, they are taken off our calendar and for that reason session fees are non-refundable. Digital download is not included in this session.

Digital images and prints are purchased a la carte at the ordering session or the day of the session
